Lars Timmermann was born in 1990 in Tübingen and grew up in Germany, the United States, and Switzerland. After completing his studies, he interned with Hans Zimmer in Los Angeles, where he worked on the film Sherlock Holmes. He then worked as an assistant director on various ProSieben and Sat.1 productions.
Lars began his commercial directing studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2013 and graduated in 2018. As a freelance director, he has already created commercials for clients such as the DFB, Audi, Mercedes, and Philipp Plein, as well as music videos for artists like CRO, Die Fantastischen Vier, and Clueso—together reaching more than 100 million viewers.
